After a postponement of a previous bus trip planned earlier in the year we reorganised and had the trip on the 30th of March.
We headed to Launceston with the plan to visit the Inveresk Museum and Art Gallery with morning tea at the Blu Inc Cafe. After coffee we went to the National Automobile Museum and enjoyed time spent there with the amazing trip in time through the timeline of past and present vehicles displayed.
The small group then wandered over to the Grain Silo Cafe for lunch. On the way back we paused at the Hillwood berry farm for take home berries.
The day was lovely weatherwise, and it was great to get about with terrific company for a very enjoyable day.
Thanks to Max for driving the bus.
Other thanks to Jason Hills for hiring a small bus to us for the day, the Blue Inc staff for such amazing service and good coffee. The staff at Automobile display were very friendly and helpful and made the visit easy for us. Lunch at the Grain Silo was delicious with service very friendly, quick, and helpful. Thanks everyone for an enjoyable day with terrific company.
